Fundraising Courses AvailableThe Certificate in Healthcare Fundraising is aimed at the needs of voluntary healthcare organisations, including community health projects, self help and support groups, and will appeal to hospices and hospital departments. As well as identifying sources of grants income, it gives an in depth look at legacy and corporate fundraising and the importance of PR in boosting your fundraising. The Certificate in Fundraising Skills is a general course on all aspects of raising income from grants bodies. For volunteers and staff within the community and voluntary sector with a remit to initiate and prepare grant applications. The Certificate in School Fundraising is an intermediate course for bursars, business managers and administrators within primary and secondary schools. It includes an analysis of school fundraising models and the production of a school fundraising strategy. Since completing the course we have received one grant of £9,895 and another of £10,800. Students gain a multitude of writing tips, sources for researching funders and the blueprint for planning local fundraising. During the courses students produce a letter to a grant making trust, assess a lottery application and produce a fundraising strategy.
